Heather Hughes is a mild manner English major by day and a hoop whirling ninja by night. She discovered the world of hoop dance at the Bacchanalia music festival in 2009. Since picking up her first hoop, she's added staff, fans, and poi to her spinning vocabulary. She hopes to introduce hoop dance to folks of all ages as a tool for both exercise and self expression.
